Along To Bed
Wednesday. To bed at ten, up with the alarm (hup!), off to breakfast and back on a really nice sunny morning (more hups!). I was thinking, as I was putting the laundry in the washers this morning, I haven't had the need for a nap in these last few days (week?). Probably an anomaly and I've undoubtedly jinxed it by mentioning it, but what the hell, the day is fine and the laundry is in the mail wash.

When the laundry is done we'll head out and do something original like walk over to the lake and photograph the geese-ducks-gulls-fish. Hup!

Later. The laundry is done, the shirts and such are folded and hung, I'll take care of the socks later. And make the bed, for that matter.

Let's see, a walk along the lake for a bit before a bus downtown to check out the City Center where they were having their Wednesday noon concert (a Beatles cover band, they weren't at all bad), on then to have a cup of coffee out in front of Peet's. A better cup of coffee this time, I must have drawn a clunker the last time I was there (and complained about it too: boo, hoo!).

Back to the apartment on a bus to futz around with the photographs before heading out again to have ice cream and a cup of coffee at the morning café. An odd floating along in a bubble day, but nonetheless a good day, I'd say. A bit of guitar now while the news is droning on, if I'm smart. Sometimes I'm smart. Sometimes I'm not. Here in, well, wherever we are, near or far.

I would suggest therapy. Therapy or keeping your mouth shut. You could try.

Me oh my.

Later still. Enough time on the guitar to call it a day. I seem to have that release bend down pretty well, we'll see how the lesson goes tomorrow. To bed early, the sinus-upper palate feels less than wonderful, so we'll get along to bed.

The photo up top was taken at the San Francisco Carnaval Parade with a Nikon D4 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 Nikkor VR II lens.
