Follow Through

Tuesday. And so to bed early enough to then awaken thirty minutes before the alarm. A decent night's sleep. Clear skies, they're saying well up into the low eighties here along the coast. Need to go downtown later and take the Latham Square pictures and pick up one or two things at the pharmacy.

You spend a lot of time picking up refills at the pharmacy.

I hear there are many more people with many more prescriptions than I with my five or six medications and so we'll not complain. Maybe coordinate the refills better, get them all at the same time.

Anyway, a walk to breakfast under clear skies and a bright sun, this being the last day the waitress, who's been serving me breakfast for over ten years, will be working at the morning café. Pregnant, due in August. Another chapter in a long line of chapters is closing and so adjustments must be made.

Home now. Almost started the laundry, but we'll put that off until tomorrow. Still have clean clothes in the drawers, but it's time. Tomorrow. Or the day after.

Later. A bus downtown to Latham Square to discover little apparent activity. One or two workers visible, neither of whom showed up in the pictures. OK, a walk along the length of the project taking photographs and then on to the 13th Street stop to catch the bus back to the apartment house construction site on the way home. We'll pick up the refills tomorrow.

The rest of the day has been spent processing photographs and an attempt at a nap, although it turned out I couldn't get to sleep. No sign of the Amazon package at three in the afternoon. More work on today's apartment house pictures thinking to get the web sites caught up through May now that it's the end of June. We're a little antsy right now.

And someone's run out of gas.

Too many photographs to process all at once, we need time to recover.

Later still. A walk to the 7-11 look-alike for an ice cream bar and a bottle of diet Coke. It's warm and humid and a little voice suggested diet Coke would be nice. The ice cream bar turned out to be a good idea too.

More time on the apartment house and Latham Square construction site web pages, although I won't be finishing and posting them until tomorrow. I do get hits on the things, the workers are aware of their existence, but I don't think the world in general is too worried over my posting schedule. So we'll cruise.

Some time on the guitar, the neglected guitar, while listening to the news and I think the day will be done. They say similar temperatures tomorrow before cooling down again Thursday. Most of the Northwest up through Alaska is both broiling and burning, from what we're hearing (and my sister has been saying), so we're not alone.

Evening. I said to bed early and it's time to follow through.

The photo up top was taken at the San Francisco 2015 LGBT Pride Parade in San Francisco with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
