Remember

Friday. I did finish watching the last episode of Marcella last night, the series I still have the uncomfortable feeling I've seen before (but still can't be sure), finishing at ten-forty and then another uneven night's sleep. I more than once thought about getting up and setting the alarm, but didn't and still awoke at five forty-five, so no problem with sleeping in late, although I'm guessing I could have used the sleep. Confusing? I am. More and more, I'm afraid.

OK, back on course. Clouds in the east blocking the rising sun and so a heavier coat walking to breakfast to order the plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast. I say I “ordered” the fruit cup, but it's something the restaurant gives me for being a good customer.

Ran a little later than usual again before setting out, not really noticing the price of regular had been increased overnight by ten cents a gallon when I was leaving and taking the picture. The wobbly picture. Open up the aperture next time, idiot, and stop complaining about the camera. It's your shaky hand and not the focus.

Except sometimes it's the focus.

Except sometimes it's the focus.

Need to go by an ATM, need to do the laundry and, although I'm pretty sure I'll get to the ATM, I'm less sure about the laundry. Less, yes, but it needs to get done.

Later. A bus to the ATM on Broadway and then a return bus, getting off a stop early to pick up a grilled chicken sandwich to take home for lunch. Haven't had one of their chicken sandwiches in a while.

And then?

Ate the sandwich and started the laundry, on and off watching the second day of the U.S. Open Golf Championship, to end the afternoon taking a look at the first episode of the second season of Marcella on the tablet after folding and hanging the laundry and making the bed. Still have the socks to fold. Busy for a day around here and made the afternoon pass quickly.

Evening. Odd. I wrote a paragraph here this morning, saved it and then posted it, but my editor (Dreamweaver) didn't “save” the paragraph no matter how many times I went back to try. Hmm. Not one I can explain.

Spent the evening watching this and that on the tablet as there was nothing on television I wanted to watch with both the main public television stations in money raising mode and so lights out before ten. Didn't get around to folding the socks, though, the first time I've done that for as long as I can remember.
