Bedroom
Wednesday. Lights out before ten to awaken, as I did yesterday, just in time to listen to the five minute KPFA news that ends at six. Plenty of time to dawdle while getting up and setting out to walk to breakfast on another still foggy morning feeling, well, as if I'd rather be driving. Not sure about this tiredness business, but it started early this morning.
The chicken-apple sausage, eggs over medium, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup appetizer and coffee for breakfast, the news in the papers pretty much news I was aware of and so finished relatively early at eight-thirty. So far, so good, the sky still overcast, the day ahead.
A little slow on the walk back to the apartment, noting someone had stolen (rather than trashed) the palm tree plant in one of two barrels that had recently been placed at either side of the entrance to the Saigon restaurant. Was it vandalism rather than thievery? No sign of the planted palm that had been taken and so who knows? Not sure I'd want to be out on these sidewalks after the various businesses closet.
A few more pictures on the way home, a hand sign discarded under the bus bench under the 580 Overpass, another of the line of Lime scooters by the lake, home now to do write this after debating maybe lie down for a while before starting. Well, felt like debating lying down for a while. It didn't come to that, the tiredness seems to be lifting, but it still spends too much time in our thinking.
Need to go by an ATM today, so we'll do that.
Later. A walk to the bus stop at noon to miss the bus to the Broadway ATM by about a minute and so a walk over to the ATM on Lakeshore, the head still in its fuzzy bubble. Not physically tired, but the sinus-upper palate aching and the vision occasionally doubling when moving from one subject to another. Not the kind of thing that makes you want to go outside. At least its less inhibiting here in the apartment.
Watched some of the World Cup earlier before setting out, took a bath, futzed around on the computer before, will do the same, I'm guessing, for the rest of the day.
Later still. Finished the two LGBT Pride Parade sections and posted them late this afternoon. Now maybe finish what little there's left with the May Day photographs, but tomorrow. We've done enough photographs for a day.
The fuzzy headed whatever's of the morning seem to have evaporated about an hour after returning from the ATM and the rest of the afternoon has gone well. I have a doctor's appointment coming up and I'll bring notes and talk about it. Is this something that just happens with age or what? It would be sad if I learned whatever I've been eating at these breakfasts is something I, for one, should be avoiding.
You've been wrestling with this here now since forever.
We are into our recurring themes.
Evening. Watched more of a BBC serial on the tablet after bailing on Midsomer Murders that started at eight on television. I'd seen it before, excuse enough to turn out the lights and head for the bedroom.
