Rest
Tuesday. Lights out by nine again awakening a couple of times during the night, but awakening finally for good at five minutes to six thinking wouldn't it be nice to go back to sleep and blow off this walking to breakfast business. Still, up to set out walking to breakfast under clear skies thinking I should have brought the sun glasses and left the long sleeved shirt. Still, a decent walk to arrive at five minutes to seven, the restaurant open for business.
The two strips of bacon, eggs over medium, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, finishing up the papers at a quarter to nine and heading out for home, the temperature warmer, but still not too warm in the long sleeved shirt and light jacket. An out of commission bus parked under the 580 Overpass, two cyclists waiting on the light in front, a single Lime scooter by the lake and another selfie in the lobby when I arrived.
Later. A slow afternoon, oddly feeling cold for the last couple hours when the temperature outside is over seventy. Let's hope we're not catching anything too debilitating. Obliterating.
Later. I got colder and colder until I broke into uncontrollable shiver and went to bed to huddle under a pile of blankets through the rest of the day and half the night. Then the shivering stopped and the cold pretty much left. This happened once before (twice before?) some years back and it was as inexplicable then as it is now. No other cold symptoms, no runny nose, none of the rest.
