Good
Tuesday. To sleep fairly quickly after ten to awaken at six-twenty, a longer than usual night's rest. Up to walk to breakfast at the usual time, arriving again as they were putting the tables and chairs out on their patio and so turned on the indoor dining area lights and settled in with the papers. Overcast, they're saying into the low seventies later.
The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, still pushing one fifty-five on the scale this morning, finishing up at nine to set out for home, the sky still overcast. And yes, wondering if I should have visited the restaurant bathroom before leaving but deciding I'd take the chance.
Arrived home, took the selfie, made it to the bathroom without a problem before sitting down at the computer and starting on all this, finishing before noon. Life in the fast lane, here in Oakland.
Later. Another do nothing afternoon spent with the tablet and the news, light on the news. There's only so many times you can listen to the same news stories repeated over and over throughout the day. Hey.
Evening. Checked the various television programs I almost invariably skip on Monday nights, skipped watching them again and so to bed by nine. Haven't really heard any fireworks in the evenings since the war they fought Saturday night, which is good. We'll end the thought with “good”.
