Months Back

Thursday. Lights out not all that long after nine, awake at six in time to turn on Democracy Now to hear what they thought of last night's debate while I got ready (checking the window to see if it was raining) to walk to breakfast on a clear, but clearly going to rain at some point later in the day morning.

A good breakfast over the papers, another photo of another four cent rise in the price of regular gas and then back to the apartment thinking, if I'm going to take any pictures of Latham Square, I'd better get out the door right now or we'll be rained out. Hmm.

Later. It's just started to rain now that it's well into the afternoon. I could have gone by Latham Square three times by now if I'd headed out the door earlier but I don't want to head out the door (stamp foot!) earlier. Or later. Feel OK, but we're not in a mood for Latham Square, pictures waiting or no. Not tired, not upset, just don't want to go.

It will be raining tomorrow.

We'll deal with tomorrow when it's tomorrow.

Evening. That went relatively quickly, the afternoon anyway. Some television, even more time on the tablet to finally watch Democracy Now again when it came on at five-thirty. Exciting stuff capped with pasta with red clam sauce for dinner. Haven't had that for a while and it's probably for the best, given how much of the stuff I'd been eating many months back.

The photo up top was taken walking home along Grand from breakfast this morning with a Nikon D4 mounted with a 24-120mm f 4.0 VR Nikkor lens.
