That's It

Thursday. To sleep around ten, so good. Awake at six-fifteen again, but close enough to say a good night's sleep and so a walk in decent light to breakfast, although it was again overcast. I believe they were forecasting earlier we'd see a ten percent chance of rain for both yesterday and today, so the grey clouds make sense. Doesn't look like rain though (unless it does).

Nothing on the schedule. A dental appointment tomorrow in the late morning, but that's about it for the week. We'll get out later, but where I don't know. Somewhere. Maybe walk down to that new French pastry shop and finally try one of their offerings. Or perhaps do something even more off the wall.

Now, now.

Later. Spent the afternoon watching a frustrating series on the tablet, frustrating in that I kept wondering what these idiotic and not particularly cuddly characters were up to and then realizing I was the idiot watching it, episode after episode. Maybe that's the meaning of television success. Getting people like me to watch it episode after episode, nobody really cares otherwise what you're thinking as long as your watching and paying their monthly fees.

Evening. Watched the first section of Charlie Rose at eight, a discussion on the current state of the Republican Party (there seems to be some turmoil going on with them) and then turned it off and went to bed. Back to that series on the tablet. The light will go out at ten, we'll finish the last few episodes tomorrow.

And that's it?

And that's it.

The photo up top was taken at the Oakland 2016 Running Festival with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
