Go Figure
Monday. To bed early to awaken at six-thirty to see how it would go without setting the alarm for six. Six is the target. Up slowly, thinking maybe I'd drive to breakfast and so putting the car keys in addition to the house keys in the pocket, but deciding, when I got to the apartment lobby to turn left and head out the door to walk. Decent walk, good decision.
Had the oatmeal, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, though. I guess I only half believe the cured meat and cheese on the to be avoided list cause these later morning ocular migraine issues. They certainly did when the ocular migraines started, but, as they began to occur more rarely, I guess I started wondering if we couldn't chance going back to the old bad habits.
And?
And we stop kidding ourself and hope all the mid-day funkiness goes away. Hey. Beside, I like oatmeal. We'll survive.
Another nice morning, the sun out walking home. They're saying cooler today, but then they said that yesterday and we had a high of seventy-eight. Another t-shirt day? A day I might actually walk all the way around the lake as part of some new exercise program?
Babble, babble.
Later. Well, no ocular signs. Good. A walk to the lake and back. That was pretty much it, although I did go by the burger drive-in and pick up a grilled cheese sandwich. Yes, cheese is on the list, but so far, since I started having these, they haven't resulted in any symptoms. And I wasn't able to talk myself into getting anything else on their menu or in the area I wanted to eat.
Anything that wasn't within immediate walking distance.
An hour's nap after the sandwich, now watching the PBS News Hour. Sun still out there and the temperature is well into the seventies.
Later still. Finished processing the St. Patrick's Day pictures and now have to complete their web pages. They'll be finished this evening, probably, but certainly by tomorrow.
The sinuses have been acting up and so an additional half dose of the pain meds. I'd taken a half dose this morning and will up it to the prescribed full dose tomorrow. Seems I need the stuff, although I'm obviously struggling to fight it. Not sure why as I have no real idea if it has side effects in addition to tamping down the sinuses.
Evening. Finished and posted the St. Patrick's Day Parade photographs. The sinuses felt better and so sat at the computer working them while listening to the various news programs I follow on television. Not tired, certainly not as tired as I seemed to be earlier, the evening, as most evenings, pretty good. Go figure.
