Parade
Saturday. Lights out by ten to awaken just before six in addition to the two or more times I awoke briefly during the night. Seems to have been OK as I felt reasonably whole, which is good, and so up to walk to breakfast on a cool, but not particularly cold morning.
The chicken-apple sausage, eggs over medium, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast. We'll go with the oatmeal tomorrow to prepare for the Saint Stupid's Day Parade to reduce any chance breakfast might bring on any ocular mischief, but today it was chicken-apple sausage. Whatever chicken-apple might really be.
The usual pandorea photograph when setting out home, followed by the the sidewalk picture, followed by the flower below the Lakeside School picture and then a heading toward the fitness club picture. Some playing with exposure settings that didn't seem to teach me much, but such has been my experience with the small V 1 camera.
Later. OK, “reasonably whole” has held through noon and so a walk over to the lake to find Ruddy Ducks feeding close to the shore and then a large group of people being led in some kind of exercise group at the white column pergola resulting, of course, in more pictures.
Then walked on for a turn by the farmers market, passing the drummer who plays on Saturdays where Grand goes under the 580 overpass (taking three pictures not worth posting) and then turning back to the apartment to watch the golf tournament on channel 11. Saturday golf. Not sure where that's coming from.
Evening. An that's pretty much been the day. Took a look at something called the Brokenwood Mysteries that started at nine, a little later than I usually like to start a program, but bailed ten minutes in. Life in the fast lane. Now to see if we get up in the morning ready to go to San Francisco and photograph the Saint Stupid's Day Parade.
