Sunday. Lights out early to awaken at a quarter to six, taking my time getting up and getting ready to drive to breakfast under an overcast sky, but without any real signs of rain. Stopped to fill the tank with gas across from the restaurant before parking, the tank close to empty, the mileage coming in at about ten miles per gallon, to be expected when you only drive it a half mile at a time going to and from breakfast.
The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, finishing the papers after nine and noticing, for the first time, the broken glass in the bus stop kiosk as I was leaving. Hadn't noticed it when I was walking from the car on the other side. A quick snapshot before getting in the car and drive home under a bright sun shining through a break in the clouds.
Nothing on the schedule for later other than checking in on the last round of the Honda Classic PGA tournament. We'll see if we can get more ambitious later, although I already know the answer to that.
Later. I must admit I've not seen a golf tournament played on a harder course with as many as five or six people tied for first place going into the last few holes. No complaints. Great finish. Processed the teachers Oakland Rally for Education photographs while watching, so we're on track there. Don't know how much further we'll manage to go today, but we're much closer getting them done.
Evening. Watched Varg Veum – Woman in the Fridge, an episode of a Norwegian private detective series, all the while wondering what kind of an idiot puts himself in such obvious danger while chasing after bad guys? Decided watching it was enough, went to bed, finished a Korean movie on the tablet that was less than clear as to what it was about before turning the lights out. Can't complain, I'm the one who watched it all the way through in sections over these last few days, so I know who's at fault.
