Tonight

Saturday. Seemed to be more than half awake from about three in the morning until about ten minutes to seven when I turned on the lights and the radio and started to think about getting up and driving to breakfast. Don't feel tired, but I'm thinking I didn't get a decent night's sleep, not by a long shot. Still, arrived at the restaurant before eight to find they weren't charging for parking. Good. Entered the dark dining area, turned on the lights and settled in with the papers. So far, so good, except for being awake half the night.

The single pork chop, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, learning that Nora, one of the waitresses, had given birth two weeks ago and things had gone very well. I was concerned with this coronavirus thing, having to go into a hospital with all the COVID-19 business about.

Finished up not all that long after nine and drove home, the rain lighter than it was driving in. Passed by the farmers market on the way. I wonder how many people will show up? Still, the problems with crowds and such at the supermarkets, maybe people will see it as a decent option. Not something I'm not going to make an effort to find out.

A selfie in the lobby, of course, to settle in then at the computer and do a quick edit of yesterday's entry before posting, but then made additional corrections I should have taken the time to find. How often have I done/said this in the past?

Later. Watched the Dell 2019 Match Play tournament punctuated with interruptions for coronavirus news updates until three and then bailed to bed and the tablet.

Evening. Watched the beginning of Legally Blond, the eight o'clock Saturday night movie on PBS. Wasn't able to handle for more than about ten minutes of it before heading for bed. Not really overly tired this day for thinking I didn't get much sleep last night, but we'll see soon enough how long it takes to get to sleep tonight.

The photo up top was taken at the 2017 San Francisco Saint Patrick's Day Parade with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
