Ladies and Gents Who Lunch photos

A Guilty Thought
Well, Thursday: the work not too hectic, the head reasonably clear, the repaired hernia fading further into the distance. Lunch at the Asiana Cafe, a new Chinese restaurant down the street. Ate too much and then participated with my companions in polishing off three orders of fried bananas split between the four of us. They come piping hot, banana slices in a gooey sugar coating: decadent as hell I can tell you. We ate them all, nobody taking anything away in a paper carton; we returned to the office half an hour late blitzed and triple fried. Not a pretty sight, maybe, but not a guilty thought among us. Fast living, here in Oakland.

The photograph was taken near Lake Merritt in Oakland with a Nikon D2h mounted with a 70 - 200mm f 2.8 Nikkor lens.
