Tomorrow

Thursday. The basketball game was over last night at about ten-thirty and so to sleep not long after, awakening at six to turn on the radio to listen to Democracy Now as I got ready to walk to breakfast on another overcast, but soon to be sunny, morning. Well, we'll say soon to be sunny, the overhanging fog may have a different idea. Sun, though. Eventually.

Nothing on the calendar, although it's a Bike To Work Day today and, I suspect, there will be things happening by City Hall. Worth a detour after taking the Latham Square pictures, a useful reason to get in our walking.

You seem to more talk about than walk about in your exhortations.

These things happen. Feel good, clear headed (so far), but it's still early. The ocular incidents of the last two days have occurred in about another hour. Not looking for one this morning, suspect the med I restarted taking killed much of yesterday's episode and will eliminate most from here one out, now that it's taken effect. Please.

Later. A bus to Latham Square to take the usual set of pictures, walking then over to Frank Ogawa Plaza to see if there was anything going on in the Bike To Work Day bicycle area. Lots of bikes, but no people. Well, no bike people. Decided to catch the bus home.

Home and then out the door with a long lens on the camera to see if there were any birds about. A bright sun, decent temperature and no birds. What migrations may have been made by now have been made and we're left with the locals. I did find a pair of pelicans down toward the sanctuary area and took maybe half a dozen pictures, none of them particularly wonderful. Walking back found a Snowy Egret fishing by the shore and managed to catch it thinning the local worm population. Better he than me. Deedle-dee-dee.

Now mid-afternoon. Time to process the Latham Square pictures and figure out how I'm going to finish processing one last photograph in the second of those two sections. It's a muddy, dark looking thing. Needs attention. Skilled attention. Unfortunately.

Evening. Today's pictures were enough to add another section of Latham Square photographs. Good. Now to post them. Tomorrow.

The photo up top was taken at this year's How Weird Street Faire with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
