Done

Monday. Lights out when? Don't really remember, but it was around ten to awaken then at five-thirty and not go back to sleep again. Well, closed my eyes, but listened to the five minutes before six KPFA news and then took my time getting up and getting out to walk to breakfast on a sunny, clear skies morning. My, my. We've had low lying clouds for these last however many weeks and the sun this early is a surprise. A very bright surprise.

The oatmeal, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast because I was up a pound again on the scale this morning. Not sure where that came from, but again, it trundles along on it's own terms and schedule. Read the somewhat skimpy Monday papers and then walked back home at eight-thirty, snapping the usual pictures.

Nothing on the schedule, but feel pretty good. We'll see. The sun is out and at a minimum there's a lake nearby with a foot path that wends all the way around. Not that I've walked it now in years.

Later. Antsy enough to get out the door and on the bus to the City Center after burning out processing photographs. Haven't been to the City Center for lunch now in some time and so had a turkey and Swiss cheese on a bagel sandwich with coffee out at a table in front of the bagel shop, the center still filled with people at one-thirty in the afternoon.

A walk to the convenience store for a box of Good & Plenty before walking then up Broadway by the building construction site to take the camera out of the backpack and shoot a few pictures. Hid the camera back in the bag thinking I'd walk on to the apartment house construction site off Grand at Webster, but a bus came by just as I passed the stop at 20th and, feeling tired, hopped on without a second thought. Tired for what little walking I'd done. So much for feeling good this morning. Let's hope it doesn't last.

Evening. Still tired. Go into the bedroom and lie down on the bed tired. A little worrisome as I'm never altogether sure why. Still, watched the first half of a movie on the tablet and then got up to check out Doc Martin for about five minutes before giving up and going back to bed and the tablet. Still tired. No need to add a Doc Martin to an already depressing mix, although I did get up again and ended up watching the Australian Doctor Blake Mysteries episode that ran until close to ten before the day was finally done.
