The operation began Monday at 8:10 in the morning and was completed four minutes after noon.

I awoke at 2:00 PM in recovery room, surprised at how well I felt (pain, grogginess, and the rest) and was moved to a hospital room soon thereafter.

Doctor said the operation had gone "very" well, no need to use any of the banked blood that I'd donated.

I will hear the results of the biopsy (to see what it was, where it started and if it got out) on Monday

Returned home Thursday today at 1:30.

Will talk about this later, but I'm very upbeat, if tired.
