Altogether Shitty Monday. A slow day, breakfast at the usual place, a nap later in the afternoon. The stucco crew evidently took last week off (to allow the base coat to set) and they started again this morning. No complaints, no upset, they seem to know what they're doing. A run downtown to pick up a prescription I'd phoned in before leaving for Bisbee only to learn the doctor hadn't responded to the pharmacy request for a refill. Hi, ho. More than enough to accomplish for one day, I'm thinking. I picked up an ice cream cone on the way home in compensation.
I called Ms. C yesterday afternoon when I arrived and earlier today to hear what I could about Wilson, but no word on his condition. They evidently took him off the ventilator on the 15th and he was breathing properly, but he's till unconscious and I'm worried the lack of response is not a good sign. Tomorrow I'll call the hospital in San Francisco. Life can be difficult and sometimes it can be altogether shitty.
