Back To Bed

Wednesday. Lights out before ten, don't remember if I got up during the night or not, but awake with the alarm to set out at the usual time (when all things are working as they should) to breakfast on a rainy overcast morning, the weather people saying rain today on no uncertain terms.

Still, no rain as I was heading to breakfast, a photo of a pandorea flower just because, back now to post yesterday's entry and face the rest of the day. I do have a prescription to pick up downtown, but nothing that can't be delayed until tomorrow if it's raining. Otherwise we'll make do here in the apartment.

Later. Overcast with the occasional very light rain all day, a walk over to the apartment construction site to take one or two pictures, back to the apartment to crawl into bed and watch the last episodes of Damages. Evidently there are additional seasons, but I suspect I've seen enough for now and don't need to continue. Again, an odd series (at least in my limited experience) in how almost every character is unsympathetic.

Perhaps that's now the way of the world.

Probably the way of all worlds, I just didn't notice when I was younger.

Evening.

To bed early. I crawled into bed about six-thirty, avoided watching anything on the tablet, got up at eight to see if I wanted to watch the Charlie Rose interview, turned out I definitely didn't and went back to bed.

The photo up top was taken at the Fruitvale Dia De Los Muertos Festival with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
