No Doubt

Sunday. Another ten hours of sleep, something like nine until seven-thirty, getting up at eight. And then another hour's nap around ten just for the hell of it to get up and head off with my sister to the Oaks Park Portland steam train restoration project again to take more pictures.

Sunny today, they're saying sun into the coming week. Cold though, below freezing last night and this morning, and so I bundled up this time with two sweaters, the light weight jacket and then a winter jacket borrowed from my nephew. And they seem to work. What was I thinking when I was packing for this trip?

Evening. Working on whatever photographs taken earlier of the train and one or two taken at last night's dinner. Warmer in all these clothes (and the heat blasting away). I read it's raining in the Bay Area and it's supposed to continue through the week. We need it. No complaints. (Until I get there, no doubt.)

The photo up top was taken this noon hour while waiting on the steam engine to arrive with a Nikon D4 mounted with a 24-70mm f/2.8 G Nikkor lens.
