Weekend

Friday. And so lights out by nine forty-five, tired it seems after doing so little on Thanksgiving, awakening finally at seven to drive off to breakfast on a no parking meters, bright sun and cold temperatures Friday morning. They're saying cold through early next week and a chance of rain around Thursday. Warmer rain.

Later. Went to lie down on the bed and dropped off into a two hour nap. Felt a little odd lying there on the bed, the world feeling different out there and then just went to sleep. The large breakfast this morning, two pork chops in addition to the eggs, country fries, toast and coffee? Still, a two hour nap after what I thought was quite a bit of sleep last night?

Still, feel fine now, clear skies and bright sun outside, we'll see if we're up for a trip to Latham Square later, something I'd thought I wouldn't even consider as I was getting up this morning.

Later still. Watched last night's Elementary on the tablet. Strange plot, but all the plots are strange, doesn't seem to matter. I guess. No, I have no idea why I continue to make a point of watching it. Not unusual, I'd guess. Why we do this or do that.

A walk two-thirty to the 7-11 look-alike for another ice cream bar, a bag of Doritos and a can of bean dip, eating and finishing the ice cream walking back to the apartment, eating the chips and dip when I got home. More comfort food. At least the weight is holding its own.

Evening. I'd seen this evening's New Tricks before, didn't remember who'd done the deed until the end. Doesn't seem to have mattered, watched it anyway. Passed on the Dalziel and Pasco that followed, the Dalziel character still puts me off to the point I don't want to put myself through it. Such is life.

Another slow day, a not uncommon condition one would suspect, on a Thanksgiving weekend.

The photo up top was taken Saturday with a Nikon D4 mounted with a 24-120mm f 4.0 VR Nikkor lens.
