Lucky Number
Sunday. Not so tired this morning. Yes, there's the disoriented part, but it's not coupled with the dead tired thing I had yesterday (resulting in a number of naps) so I drove (not quite ready yet for walking) to breakfast at the usual place. I have no idea if this is good or bad, but the day has begun, the sun is shining and I managed a couple of photographs (two of which are behind the logo). Any day is good when you can get a couple of photographs in before you finish the morning paper.
Bleah!
Well, yes. The brain isn't quite functioning this early in the morning and - who knows? - maybe keeping a journal eventually gets to the cerebral cortex and my much discussed woes come from too much HTML. I bring this up as tomorrow marks the beginning of my tenth year of keeping a journal. I posted a comment or two beginning in January, 1998 on my old nbbc.com web site (since purchased by NBC), but the official start as a “journal” was October 29th, 1998. My original question was would I do it for a month with no idea I might be keeping it for nine years. There are things in my past that might have predicted it, but it's nothing I'd have believed when I started. The Chinese consider nine to be a lucky number, by the way. Maybe nine will be lucky for me.
And that's it?
A ride downtown later this afternoon to pick up some folic acid and have a chicken sandwich for lunch. Didn't feel like walking back, hopped on a bus, returned to the apartment, worked on some photographs. Life in the fast lane (as is every day) here in Oakland.
