Do Like Lucy Liu
Thursday. Up with the alarm, no apparent need to get more sleep, off to breakfast and back to post yesterday's entry (after a bit of editing) and start this before setting out for Pasadena. Hup! We'll need some encouragement. We will, but we'll be there in another, oh, seven hours, give or take. If it all works out. Hup.

Later. Long drive. Left at nine-thirty, arrived before four, some short stops along the way for gas and to stretch my legs. I'm not much up for this longer haul driving anymore.

Still, drove pretty much straight to the Sheraton, checked in, discovered they charge ten dollars a day for Internet access. Feels like flying as (I hear) they nickel and dime you every way you turn. Still, this is a one off, not going to repeat, going to a wedding affair, we smile and say not a word.

You just said a word.

The words here don't count. Which may be a dangerous conceit for someone who's been on the Internet for a while.

Evening To bed early was the thought. I'm up in the fourth floor of a very large (to me very large)Sheraton motel/hotel and felt it best to get some sleep rather than scout out something to eat, going to bed around eight and then realizing, when it was ten, I wasn't sleeping and this horrible new Sherlock Holmes they've started on CBS was on at ten. So I watched it.

You were just interested in Lucy Liu.

Quirky thing, way too much advertising (makes me understand why there's such a thing as cable), didn't throw anything at the set and I do like Lucy Liu.

The photo up top was taken yesterday at Telegraph and Broadway with a Nikon D4 mounted with an 24-70mm f 2.8 G Nikkor lens.
