Thinking

Saturday. Awoke at five-thirty and so turned on the radio and listened to the news until six before getting up and walking to breakfast, the blood pressure 119/73 after having been 136/83 last night. Not so bad. The sky clear, the air cold, the weather people saying it will get to 80 degrees later and do so for the next three days. Shivering a bit by the time I arrived to find the restaurant dark, but the dining area door open and so inside to turn on the lights and settle in with the papers.

The avocado and mushroom omelet, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, finishing up at close to nine, the sun now bright in a clear sky and so the usual pictures, not quite catching a scooter rider before he took off from the light under the 580 Overpass. Another of the line of scooters by the lake and then a ding-a-ling selfie in the apartment house lobby, ready now to start the day.

Later. Walked up the street to take a couple of pictures of the construction site near my apartment. They seem to have gotten rid of the pile of trash that's been sitting in the center of the existing building. Curious to see what's involved in creating the garage that will then support the apartment and condominium units sitting above. Can't see where they'd put them otherwise.

Good energy and so a bus not much later to the Broadway ATM and a walk home. A brisk walk home, keeping up with the faster walkers this time, not really tired when I arrived back at the apartment and so a better mile and a half walk than I've had in a while.

Football for the rest of the afternoon.

Evening. Another to bed by eight, lights out after nine, radio off by nine-thirty. Not a bad day I'd say, but then I say so many things without particularly thinking.

The photo up top was taken at the 2017 Folsom Street Fair with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
