Guess

Friday. Not a bad night's sleep. Dropped off soon after ten to wake up briefly but once, then for good just before six to get up, take the blood pressure and listen to Democracy Now! before heading out and walking to breakfast under heavily overcast skies, arriving to turn on the lights in the indoor dining area and settle in at my table with the papers.

The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee again as that's what came out of my mouth when asked what I wanted, finishing up after nine to set out for home under now clear skies with a light breeze, the temperature just fine with no worries after having decided to visit the restaurant bathroom before leaving.

Home to take the selfie in the lobby, lie down on the bed for five minutes and then settle in at the computer feeling tired, finishing yesterday's entry before posting and processing the morning pictures, but lying down again and taking an hour's nap. We'll get to the writing later.

Later. An hour's nap before watching the news at two and checking in on Facebook now and again before retiring to the bed and a movie on the tablet. Sounds too familiar.

Evening. Listened to some of the Giants-Dodgers game on the radio, but had the usual trouble receiving the AM station that broadcasts it. I surprised myself at the amount of attention I gave it.

The blood pressure was up significantly when I took it at eight-thirty and so took another blood pressure med. I'd taken the first med of the day at three this afternoon when it had started to rise, but it seems to not have had an effect, a not uncommon happening in the late afternoons. More of this life in the fast lane, I guess.

The photo up top was taken at the 2014 Folsom Street Fair with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
