Today

Interesting how much you're able to forget in the four or so months since you've added to this thing. How again does my FTP program work turned out to be just one of the questions I had to address before I could cobble it back together again. But here we are and so we'll know soon enough how it goes.

The daily schedule is now pretty much set in stone. Up by six-thirty, downstairs to have breakfast (cereal, orange juice, coffee and a banana), back upstairs to turn on the computer that now sits on a table beside the bed, check the news on the local PBS station, post three pictures that I've added in the past suggested by Facebook and take the blood pressure around eight-thirty.

A half hour's walk around the neighborhood after nine to then futz on the computer and watch whatever on the tablet until noon. The weight has been holding steady, the blood pressure is good in the mornings, once the meds have kicked in, but then it gets higher as I get into the evenings. Emailed the doctor with last week's results this afternoon, something I've been putting off now for over a month.

You've gotten very good at “putting things off”. At least you acquired some new skills.

Not funny. I'm amazed I get out the door to take that morning walk. Once out the door, as usual, I'm fine and the walk flies on by, not overly pooped when I get back home.

Maybe this enough for today.

The photo up top was taken on my morning walk with a Nikon 1 V3 mounted with a 1 Nikkor 10-30mm f3.5-5.6 VR lens.
