Thursday To sleep not long after ten to awaken just before six without the sore chest. This is good. Up to walk to breakfast under fog covered skies, the smoke level Normal, the temperature comfortable in long sleeved shirt and light jacket, arriving to find they hadn't set up the patio tables yet and so waited a few minutes as they were put in place. Settled in with the papers, the sun not visible and so not making reading an effort.
The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee again, finishing up ten minutes after nine to go through the usual clockwork routine of taking pictures of the various flowers still holding out in their planters, the sun now up (it had made reading difficult squinting over the papers toward the end), but the temperature good.
No flowers below the Lakeview school, but a shot standing at the 580 Overpass light (shot on purpose, pictures like these are usually the result of a misfire), more of two groups of Lime scooters I'd passed on the way in wondering how many if any might have been rented by the time I returned (didn't look like may, if any), on up the hill to take the selfie.
OK, the picture taking had gotten out of hand and so it took longer to do the processing, finishing up just before one in the afternoon. Energy good, maybe skip lying down with the tablet and do something completely different for a change.
Later. The energy held, at least what I'm calling energy these days, but didn't do anything out of the norm, spending the afternoon with the tablet and listening to the news. Well, those aspects of the news I'm able to handle/stomach anymore. We do live in fucking weird interesting times.
Evening. Watched what they were calling the start to a new season of Vera at eight, discovered I'd seen it before, remembering little of who'd done what to whom, although I did sort of recall who it was who'd killed the guy at the beginning. Sort of. Whatever, it was enough to have me sit for an hour and a half and watch it through. No complaints. Better than lying on the bed watching something less wonderful on the tablet.
Lights out at ten, my lights out after the six minute radio news.
