After

Friday. To sleep after ten to awaken just before six, take the blood pressure (115/73, 116/65 and 115/69) and listen to Democracy Now! before getting up and setting out walking to breakfast under overcast skies and rain streaked sidewalks and streets. My, my. They'd said something about a chance for some rain and lighting strikes this morning, turns out they were right. Arrived to take my usual place at the indoor dining area table and start on the papers.

The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, finishing up later than usual in order to not arrive too early for my haircut appointment at nine-thirty not far from the restaurant. Arrived five minutes early, but got right into the chair and had her cut it way back. The flattop look isn't quite what I was after, but it should be easier to manage in the mornings. Please.

Arrived home to take the selfie with the new haircut in the lobby to then settle down at the computer to finish yesterday's entry, post the thing and start processing the morning pictures, starting on this at noon. Running a little late due to the haircut.

Later. Watched the thirty minute CBS news program at noon and then debated whether to walk or drive to Wallgreens to get the flu shot. Got ready to walk and then decided not, took off my jacket and lied down to listen to the radio, but got up pretty much right away to head out the door and drive to Wallgreens.

Found a parking space without a problem and got the shot after standing in line for ten minutes and then waiting another ten minutes before it was administered. Drove straight home, lied down on the bed again and turned on the tablet. But at least it's done. Spent most of the rest of the afternoon watching two baseball games on the tablet.

Evening. Baseball into the evening as there was nothing on television I wanted to watch (did I even look at Inspector Morse at eight?) and so lights out well before ten, the left shoulder aching a bit where I got the flu shot, my lights out soon after?

The photo up top was taken at the 2015 Art & Soul Festival yesterday with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
