Nine

Sunday. Interesting. To sleep not long after nine, having turned the lights out before nine, to awaken then at six twenty-five, what for me is a long night's sleep. Maybe I should try turning the lights out before nine for a while, see if we can't pull this off again? Anyway, up to drive to breakfast, arriving to turn on the lights in the indoor dining area and start on the pile of Sunday newspapers, the sky clear, the temperature just fine, the air quality only moderate as there's some smoke in the air.

The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, the weight holding well on the scale this morning, finishing up at a quarter after nine to drive straight home, take the selfie in the lobby and settle in here at the computer to go through the usual finish yesterday's entry, post, process the morning's few pictures and start here. Feeling clear headed, for a change.

Later. A high of seventy-four degrees in my neighborhood the weather people are saying, not that it had any effect on my staying inside. I did clean the bathroom, however, the floor having needed a cleaning in, well, a long time. Nice to see it looking good.

Watched some baseball, continued watching two or three series and then a movie on the tablet after listening to the first half hour of a Metropolitan Opera broadcast on public television.

Evening. Nothing I wanted to watch on television or listen to on the radio and so to bed again early, the blood pressure normal and so skipped the blood pressure med, not having taken one now since yesterday evening, lights out well before nine.

The photo up top was taken at the 2015 Oakland Art & Soul Festival yesterday with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
