A studio session in Emeryville

April 20th, 2006

Some Pictures
Thursday. An excellent day, lunch to celebrate the promotion of a fellow worker at Yoshi's in Jack London Square (sushi, what else?), paid for by the company and a retirement party in the afternoon where I shot some pictures. Tomorrow a dinner after work for the retiree and tomorrow morning a portrait session in Emeryville. Activity. Who would have thought?

Certainly not anyone who's been reading this journal.

My point exactly. I haven't even mentioned the Cherry Blossom parade coming up Sunday in San Francisco.

Friday. The retiree dinner was at an interesting “club” near the office just off Broadway up on the second and third floor of a building I've walked by many times, but never really noticed. Been there for a long time. Wine and soul food, a bunch of people from the office, a good time for two hours or so after work and then a drive home. Can't complain. Took some pictures.

The photograph was taken at a studio session in Emeryville with a Nikon D2x mounted with a 17-55mm 2.8 Nikkor lens at 1/60th second, f 2.8, ISO 100.
