Slow

Wednesday. A decent night's sleep, a walk to breakfast to have the French Toast, fruit up and coffee over the papers. So far, so good. The walk back still taking the usual pictures, none of which I'm able to download and process without the main computer, but pictures none the less with a different lens on the camera opening up opportunities somewhat different than usual. Felt good, the sinus thing still a problem, but a decent snap to the step walking home.

The laptop speed still frustrating. Lots of shortcuts needed to be devised to get things done, shortcuts that can lead to mistakes. We'll worry about that when we get that disk array controller from Dell, although when it will arrive is still unknown.

Later. A not unusual slow late morning to mid-afternoon, taking it easy and attempting a nap or two, now sitting and fumbling on this oh-so-slow laptop while listening to television news. Still, feel about right, nothing too far out of whack.

Evening. Found a couple of things on the tablet and so to bed early after figuring out the change in port setting that needed to be made in order to send an email. The laptop, again. Progress, but oh so slow.

Last year's San Francisco Cherry Blossom Festival taken with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
