Tomorrow

Tuesday. To bed after nine with lights out by ten to awaken then at six-twenty with a couple of short times during the night. Seems to be enough sleep whenever the lights are turned out and however many times I might wake up during the night. A walk on a soon to be sunny morning to breakfast.

Had the avocado and cheese, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee over the papers to then walk home at a quarter before nine. A nice walk on what's going to be warmer day.

Now to see if we can get this computer working again. One way or another. Tired of this oh-so-slow laptop of mine.

Later. Dell support was no help and so tracked down the Dell instructions on how to create an installation disk (USB stick) for my specific machine and downloaded the necessary files. Took over six hours to download, another hour to go through the procedure to create the bootable stick. Yes, this laptop is slow. Tried it out then at seven in the evening, couldn't get it to work. We'll take from there tomorrow.

Evening. Watched an early episode of Doc Martin, one I'd seen long ago when I watched the series with some interest, where his parents appear and show themselves to be monsters, unredeemable in ways not usually depicted on television. I remember thinking that when I first saw it years ago. Ah, well. Enough and so to bed. It's been a long day with this failed computer, we'll see how it stumbles along tomorrow.

Last year's Oakland Marathon taken with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
