Tomorrow

Sunday. Lights out not long after nine to awaken briefly twice during the night and then awaken for good at six twenty-five to get up and drive to breakfast to have the single pork chop, eggs over medium, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee. Six-tenths of a pound over the target on the scale this morning and so to hell with towing the line.

Or something like that.

Or something like that.

Took my time over the papers, took the usual pictures on the way to the car to get home and see how the now functioning computer was holding up. Any problems with the Internet connection? No, but the computer went through some sort of C: drive cleanup when booting and the FTP program couldn't connect to the journal. Something about a bad password. Went to the ISP and fixed the thing, but it took time and a little guy was ever ready to throw up his hands in the back of my mind. Whatever, it seems to have straightened itself out in time to leave for the San Francisco City Hall and the Anime contest at the forming up of the Cherry Blossom Parade.

Later. Tired. Still, a bus to BART and the Civic Center stop to arrive in front of City Hall around noon and shoot for about forty-five minutes before deciding I'd had enough (as in pooped) and so back to Oakland to end up walking back to the apartment. Tired.

Still, I did get out, I did shoot enough to get a section of pictures for artandlife and I did underline for myself the fact I need to get more exercise. But enough of that. Too much talking, not enough action.

An afternoon now of processing pictures and preparing this now working computer for the next time it fails. Too many files I want to keep would be lost if I don't, after realizing what would have happened if I hadn't been able to get this thing up and working again.

Evening. Feeling pretty good, but tired, the good kind, and so to bed by nine, lights out soon thereafter. Progress was made processing pictures, but still have a way to go and so we'll start again tomorrow.

At the forming up of the Cherry Blossom Parade this early afternoon in front of the San Francisco City Hall taken with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
