Not

Wednesday. Lights out after ten and so pushing waking up to just before six. We can deal with that. Out the door on another overcast morning to walk to breakfast, a bit cool, but a comfortable walk.

Had the oatmeal, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast as we're still over our target weight. No complaints, really, I do like their oatmeal and it's hard to go wrong with toast. Finished by eight-thirty and so a picture of the pandorea vine, of the laying of pipes or whatever they're doing farther down along on the sidewalk, one of the flowers below the Lakeview school and then one last sidewalk picture heading up the hill to the apartment. Another breakfast, another day, a day with a Protime blood thinner test to get us out the door again pretty soon.

Later. Took off early at ten-thirty to take a bus to Broadway and then walk to the lab to have the blood drawn, no one waiting when I arrived, and so out the door to have a yogurt cup and coffee at the building café before walking back to Grand to catch the bus home.

Had the camera in the backpack and so took pictures at the apartment house construction site by the lab and then the construction site on 23rd near Grand. Snapshots, really, just point and shoot without a lot of thinking. We seem to be less into thinking as the years progress.

Which should be embarrassing, especially here when the words become a mess.

I'm too far into this embarrassment thing to really worry about it.

Home to solve out the problem with the FTP setup and eventually managed to post the Cherry Blossom stuff to artandlife. I have a set of pictures I really haven't looked at yet of the March for Science I photographed earlier this month and I suspect that's what's on the plate the rest of the day unless I can figure a way to duck out.

Evening. A bath, a movie on the tablet and then the news made up the rest of the afternoon and into the evening, watching the beginning of a Midsomer Murders for its first half hour before giving up and heading to bed. Not a bad day, some walking, the head clear. Wish I could say this is our experience more often than not.

At the forming up of the Cherry Blossom Parade Sunday afternoon in front of the San Francisco City Hall taken with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
