Again

Tuesday. Lights out before ten to awaken at five-thirty thinking too early, blinked and the six-fifteen alarm went off. OK, a long enough night's sleep, up to walk to breakfast under an overcast sky, the weather people claiming it will be partly cloudy today with the temperatures up into the mid-sixties. We can live with that. Arrived just before seven, the restaurant open, but just.

The pork chop, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, spending quite a bit of time over the papers and so not finishing up until nine. Wondered about that as I was documenting the two cent drop in the price of regular at the Mobile station across the street. I've been reading in more detail, starting and finishing longer pieces in the papers. The head clearer? The focus better? Cheerful thoughts for a Tuesday.

Not but a single picture walking home, the selfie in the lobby and then up to post yesterday's entry. For wondering if the head was clearer, yesterday's post had a morning section, but then I'd bailed on any attempts at more through the afternoon and evening. Not unusual, but hard to say things could be changing from reading this.

Boo-hoo.

Now, now. We'll see how it goes. The sinus-upper palate is the only thing in the way so far this morning, the attitude good, the day ahead. No reason to write anything off until at least noon and maybe not then.

Later. The day starting well and so a thirty minute walk to the Lakeshore ATM and back. I'd missed the bus as my NextBus app now no longer works with the AC Transit system and the recommended replacement doesn't want to install on my now too old iPhone 4. The NextBus app was the reason I went from a flip phone to a smart phone in the first place. Ah, well. The same with the cameras, adding another that's brighter-faster-better so you have to talk yourself into buying the new one. We'll hold out against a new one, I think. Bummer on the NextBus app, though.

Sunny out there and so naturally, returning from the walk, settled in with the tablet for over an hour.

Evening. Another this or that on the tablet, nothing worth the effort on television and lights out before ten. Again.

The photo up top was taken at the 2018 Cherry Blossom Festival Parade with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
