Around
Wednesday. Lights out at ten as I'd done the night before, but awoke at four-thirty instead of close to six. Annoying, I guess, but in looking back at it a few hours later I do seem to have dozed off and on until about six to awaken fully and listen to Democracy Now! while lying in bed, the time going by it seems to me now rather quickly. So we'll say it went all right, last night, the sleep.
Up to walk to breakfast, but at the last minute deciding to drive, feeling tired, feeling enough of whatever it was to rationalize taking the car to arrive, enter the blocked off dining area, turn on the lights and settle in with the papers.
The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee again, because we still saw too much weight on the scale this morning, finishing up not long after nine to walk to the car, drive home, take the selfie and settle in with yesterday's entry, post the damned thing and start the laundry. Just got up and took that first basket down to the laundry room, doing it quickly before I could talk myself out of it.
Later. Laundry, to include folding and hanging, done by noon; folding the socks had its turn a couple of hours later, all done without undue damage to skin or bone.
Otherwise more time lying on the bed watching this and that on the tablet with breaks to only half listen to the current news on both television and radio. After the morning papers there's only so much more news you want to hear, particularly when most of it is a repeat of earlier reporting. That and how depressing this virus thing has become, not to mention the creature who lives in the White House.
Evening. Dialed into Midsomer Murders fifteen minutes after it had started, watched it through vaguely thinking I'd seen it before. Not really sure that's true this time, but a really funky not to be believed motivation for three murders. To bed before ten. lights out soon after. Maybe we'll do better with the sleep this time around.
