Tuesday. Seemed a bit uneven, but I'm guessing a decent night's rest last night, awakening for good at a quarter past six to listen to the rest of Democracy Now!, get up and head out walking to breakfast under more of these overcast skies. Not overly cold from the feel of it to arrive as they were setting up the patio tables and chairs and so settled in at my indoor dining room table and started on the papers.
The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee, this time, finishing up just after nine to walk home, thinking I'd make an appointment for a haircut if the barber shop was open. It wasn't, but maybe an excuse to walk down to it again later, make an appointment and get some needed exercise in. Well, walking in.
Home to take the selfie in the lobby and settle in at the computer to finish yesterday's entry, post it and start on the pictures, finishing up right here around eleven.
Later. A walk to the barber shop just before noon to find it was still closed. We'll check again tomorrow on the way back from breakfast. Let's hope they're not closed for however much longer, this hair of mine is getting depressing.
Evening. The usual time on the tablet extending into the evening with breaks for the news broadcasts, watching the beginning of an NCIS episode on CBS at eight that put me off after maybe twenty minutes and so on to bed.
These days are starting to close in in subtle ways your only notice when you have a chance to think about it without the various tablet-television-radio distractions. Let's hope this vaccination program will turn things around once pretty much everyone is protected.
