Sleep

Wednesday. A somewhat uneven night's rest, I seem to recall, but awake finally at just before six to sort of listen to Democracy Now! while half awake, getting up at the usual time around seven-thirty to set out driving to breakfast, parking by the 7-11 store and entering the inside dining area to sit at my usual table and start on the papers.

The avocado and mushroom omelet, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee because I haven't had it in a while, finishing up around nine to head for their bathroom because I was thinking maybe I'd better do that and not gamble on getting home in time. Been a while since that's happened.

Anyway, out the door to the car to see if the barber shop was open. It was. Parked, got an appointment for first thing Friday morning just after breakfast.

Home to take the selfie in the lobby before heading up to settle in at the computer, finish yesterday's entry, post and process the morning pictures, all five of them. Some sun out there at the moment, they're saying the high today still only around sixty degrees, but climbing to seventy as this next week progresses.

Later. The usual: tablet, more tablet, news programs, but without thinking to attempt a nap.

Evening. Watched an episode of Midsomer Murders I hadn't seen before. At least I thought I hadn't seen it before, could be I'd started it sometime back and then bailed, so there wasn't much to remember. To bed after to end up turning the radio and the lights off before ten to see if we couldn't go right to sleep.

The photo up top was taken at the 2017 San Francisco Saint Stupid's Day Parade with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
