Slept

Monday. OK, lights out after nine to get to sleep not all that long after ten, but to awaken then just before five to what I thought might be a brief earthquake jolt (turns out it was), blink, and awaken again at five minutes to six. Not a bad night, I'd guess, and so up to walk to breakfast under clear and sunny skies, the weather people saying a high of fifty-nine degrees later, not all that warm, but heading toward the seventies in the coming days.

Arrived as the patio tables were being put out in position and so entered the indoor dining area, turned on the lights and settled in with the papers.

The avocado and mushroom (with cheese this time) omelet, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, the first time I've had cheese in an omelet in years, but figured I'd give it a try as I haven't had any sign of an ocular migraine now in some time. A slice of American cheese, though, not sure I need to have that again.

Anyway, finished up before nine to set out for home, the sky still clear, the sun still bright, taking the usual set of pictures plus one or two wondering if I were going to make it home in time to make it to the bathroom again. The downside of walking to and from breakfast, there's always a certain do I use the restaurant bathroom or am I just hallucinating the problem, something the walk home makes clear about halfway there. Such is life.

Home to take the selfie and head upstairs to the bathroom (just in time) before settling down at the computer and start here. So far not a bad day, no sign of tiredness. Yet.

Later. A brief nap mid-afternoon, but otherwise a decent day. Cleaned up an area in the bedroom for the first time in forever, junked a bunch of old magazines, did some dusting. Progress?

Lied down on the bed late this afternoon and awoke at ten in the evening. What? Haven't done that before (that I can remember). Up to turn off the computer and lights and settle back into bed for the night. Wonder how the head will feel in the morning? Don't remember what time it was when I lied down so can't say how many hours it was that I slept.

The photo up top was taken at the 2017 San Francisco March For Science with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 24-70mm f 2.8 G Nikkor lens.
