Anything

Wednesday. Lights out at nine-thirty to awaken at five minutes to six, just in time to listen to the KPFA news before Democracy Now! got underway. OK: so far, so good. Burned up some time in order to set out at six forty-five and not arrive too early, the morning overcast under the marine layer again, cool, the eyes watering as I walked. Better this than the temperatures inland. No complaints.

The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee, this time, the weight still holding on the scale this morning. Went through the papers more quickly than usual, many of the stories repeats of what I've been following yesterday online. We do have this time on our hands, now that we're retired, to listen/read the news more than a sensible person should.

The walk back along Grand coming up on this, a Bird scooter, yes, but a homeless - man, woman? - sleeping beside it just across from the Grand Lake theater.

All of the various flowers I've been photographing are shriveling up now, not sure if it's early or late with the way the climate has been behaving around here. The usual Lime scooter pictures along with a Bird scooter found where the whatever brand it was scooter was parked yesterday. And so, of course, pictures.

Madness comes in many flavors. I wonder if there's a term they use for yours?

Can't be any worse than a sugar addiction or maybe an unusual fondness for animal crackers. Right?

Later. Took a look at the web sites thinking I'd copy what photographs I'd processed to their web folders to see how many I had, a way to encourage me to finish processing the pictures and get along with finishing the web pages, get the act together in other words, to discover there was a set of pictures taken in 2017 sitting there waiting to be processed for the web. Seems I had photographed the 2017 festival, but was way short of enough to put together a complete section. Hmm. We can put together a 2017-2018 section if I'm short with those I shot this weekend.

And?

I don't seem to be goofing off on just them, I seem to be goofing off on everything.
