Evening

Saturday. Lights out at ten to awaken somewhat abruptly at six-thirty to get up and hustle a bit to get out the door and walk to breakfast at six-fifty on another bright sunny morning, the temperature not so bad. Some watering of the eyes, of course, but the eyes and nose go off at any old drop in the temperature.

Had the French toast with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast over the papers, catching up on whatever stories were currently holding my interest. Finished by eight-thirty and so the walk home, taking pictures of the two (three, four?) remaining flowers below the Lakeview school. And, of course, the Lime scooters by the lake. I like the Lime scooter colors, brighter and lighter than the drab black of the Bird scooters, both brands pretty much now settled in the neighborhood.

Scooter, schmooter.

Not much else going on around here, need to talk about something. Still, feel pretty good after Thursday when I spent in sleeping. Might get out the door later.

Later. OK, no desire to get out to take pictures and so on the bed with the tablet to watch the Mr. Sunshine episode that became available today before getting up to see how Tiger Woods was doing at the PGA Championship. Seems he's doing well.

Still a nice day out there. Maybe put a camera in the backpack and take the short walk to the lake. I still put the camera in the backpack, even though I take it out as soon as I reach the lake, still nervous about having it visible, although that evaporates once I leave the building. Still, without any urge to get outside apart from the photography, it gives me an excuse to be the hermit. At least the head is clear and the attitude good.

Later still. Interesting tournament. Tiger is tied with a bunch of others for third place and there's enough others close enough to the leader that any of them could win the thing tomorrow and so I suspect I'll watch with interest. Otherwise it's been warm today, sitting in a t-shirt by the fan. Drums coming from over at the lake, but so far no thought to go take a look, see who's taking advantage of this seventy degree, the forests are all burning, weather.

Evening. More time with the tablet pretty much describes the evening.
