Morning
Saturday. Tired, lights out early, to sleep early, but awakening twice to roll over and go back quickly to sleep again, awakening for good at six-twenty on what looks to soon be a sunny morning once the haze clears. Off to breakfast to arrive just after the restaurant had opened. So far, so good. A picture of four Lime scooters at the same bus stop across from the theater taken more out of habit than sense, but when has less than sensible stopped a photographer?
The avocado and cheese omelet, country potatoes, toast and coffee for breakfast. The Saturday papers, although thin, keeping me at the table until just before nine. A little fuzzy/light headed again walking home, the Lime bikes so far untouched when I passed by them again, that flower still in good shape below the school followed by a shot of five Lime scooters having been just positioned from a large white van by the lake, the first picture with a blurry bicycle rider entering the view, the second clear. Like the rider picture better, the small V1 camera not able to focus quickly. Well, ‘quickly’. The focus is way too damned slow.
Still feeling rundown/fuzzy/tired when I got home and finally remembered to take the blood pressure just after I'd arrived: 78/55. Oh. Why hadn't I considered blood pressure in these last few days, particularly after the last drop in pressure problems were experienced not all that long ago? Surprised I was able to stand up, let along walk, with a number like that.
And so what do we do about it?
Skip the blood pressure med tomorrow morning, start taking it in the evening and watch it over the next several days. Not bad that it's dropped. Be nice to live life without the med, but not good when it goes up and down. Have to think more about this.
Later. Took the blood pressure at ten-fifty this morning: 86/67. At one twenty-five: 110/78. This is what was happening that last go round: down and then up, down and then up, apparently unrelated or only loosely related to the med schedule. Take it in the morning, as I do now, and part of the day is hosed. Take it at night and you'd think the low point would occur when sleeping, but then have it become better the next morning. No sense to it.
And?
And we do what we can. Meanwhile the sun it out and it's warm, albeit the with some pollution and so watched a new episode of a Korean series on Netflix that became available today, another due tomorrow, to get up and take that last blood pressure reading I mentioned above, so it came after lying down on the bed for well over an hour.
Go figure?
Go figure. Meanwhile we'll watch the U.S. Amateur Tournament and what little else we might find on television this afternoon.
Evening. Took the blood pressure at four: 123/73. And at eight-thirty: 118/83. What I'd call normal, albeit a little higher than it's run in the past, but only just. Nothing on television and still tired so to bed early, lights out by nine. We'll see how we handle this crap in the morning.
