Friday. Lights out early and to sleep relatively quickly to then awaken at six-ten (or was it twenty?) to get up and get out the door in reasonably good shape. Overcast and cool, at least the eyes and nose were watering, arriving at the restaurant at seven, taking but one picture of (what else?) three Lime bikes parked at the bus stop across from the Grand Lake theater. So far, so good. Another day has begun.
Ordered the French toast with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast and got further into the papers than usual, not packing up until after nine. A story about older folks not eating enough protein caught my attention among others, wondering if I was doing the same thing. Cutting too far back on meat? We'll add a little more, at least for a while.
The usual walk home, a snapshot of the Lime bikes across from the theater, one of them having been put to use by someone as I was at breakfast, the below the Lakeshore school flower and then the Lime bikes by the lake, creating a second photograph through cropping. Like the cropping.
Need to go by an ATM today, so maybe a walk over to the Lakeshore ATM this time, stretch a bit, play with the idea of getting, if not actually getting, more exercise.
Later. A quick walk feeling a little wobbly down to the bus stop to arrive three minutes early for a bus that didn't arrive. OK. Waited the twenty minutes for the next bus to the Broadway ATM, still feeling wobbly and so walked to the Webster stop on Grand and rode the bus to the burger drive-in to pick up a hamburger to bring home for lunch. How long has it been since I've had a hamburger? Maybe that article on protein this morning got me to thinking. And I was hungry.
Still the wobbly feeling and so to bed and the tablet until the PBS Newshour came on. Less wobbly? A bit. We'll see where this goes.
Later still. Watched the first half of the Newshour on television, turned it off and went back to the bed to listen to it on the radio, but gave up even on that and finished watching a couple of less than wonderful things on the tablet. Good night's sleep or not, we're certainly tired. And a little foggy.
Hmm.
Hmm indeed.
Evening. Lights out before nine after starting two movies on Netflix I realized, after starting, them I'd seen before. On Netflix. Fairly recently. Not sure that's a good sign.
