That

Thursday. Odd night's sleep in that I felt I was half awake through most of it. This after saying yesterday that all was well on the sleep front. Still, awoke after six feeling reasonably clear headed, couldn't say I hadn't slept or that I was tired from the way I was feeling, so maybe sleeping half awake isn't a guarantee of naps to come.

Another overcast morning, but the sun breaking through by the time I'd finished breakfast. Almost passed by, but then backed up to take a picture of three Bird scooters and a Skip scooter. Haven't seen or heard of a Skip scooter before. On by three Lime scooters parked at the bus stop. Any excuse to take a photograph.

Arrived by seven, the restaurant in full swing (all of three of us in the dining area) and so ordered the two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, the papers keeping me reading until a quarter to nine.

More pictures on the walk home along Grand, taking a number of scooter pictures to show how many had been activated and used while I was at breakfast and to take another of the Skip scooter to see it more clearly. I caught up to the two women whom I often see walking on my way home (and once heading in the other direction when I was walking in) and took pictures. Like the white against the lake, two sailing ships against a Lake Merritt sunrise.

Nothing on the schedule for the day. The Protime people called to say I needed to take an extra half dose of the blood thinner med tomorrow and come back in two weeks instead of four. OK. Happens now and again.

Nothing on the schedule except to take more dumb pictures of construction sites.

Later. Took a good long nap, maybe two hours. A nap in the sense I entered a fog that was close to sleep, but it still seems to have recharged the batteries by mid-afternoon. So good.

A walk up the street to take another picture of the apartment house/condominium construction site to discover they'd covered a larger area in plastic sheeting. Still have no idea when construction of the buildings themselves will start.

Evening. OK, after yesterday: tired. Watched one or two things on the tablet, but then turned it off, turned off the lights and went to sleep, just like that.
