Bed
Monday. Lights out reasonably early after bailing on whatever I was watching on the tablet and so to sleep at a decent hour to awaken at six-fifteen, right on target. I'd taken the blood pressure med last night and so checked the blood pressure first thing: 109/68. Good. I guess. Out the door to breakfast, overcast, cool without being cold, passing by this on the way. Someone who's been messing around not long before I'd arrived, as I often come upon the person who unlocks the chain blocking the school parking entrance in the mornings and so whoever's done this can't have done it too much before I arrived. Hi, ho. Arrived before seven to find the restaurant open. Good.
Ordered an avocado (no cheese) omelet, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, finishing up the papers not long before nine. Still overcast, of course, but in a pretty good mood walking home.
The usual pictures, although I was somewhat surprised to find them all in pretty good focus. You open up the f-stop as wide as it will go and you take care to get the focus right when you're shooting, taking care to move as little as possible, but with this little V1 camera you never know what will be in focus and what won't.
Anyway, many scooters about and found the two white sailed ladies across the street ahead of me in time to take a picture.
A good start to a morning until I saw how all over the block yesterday's entry was when I got home. No reason to bitch about it, if it really was important to me I'd do something about it during the day and not put it off to apply band-aids the next morning. There was a time when this would have been more than disconcerting.
Later. A walk to the bank on Lakeshore to then have a yogurt cup and coffee at the bagel shop before picking up a card at the card shop for one of the waitresses who's moved to Sacramento, Wednesday her last day at the restaurant. Figure it's only fair for someone who's been serving me breakfast since forever.
Back to watch the news and then finish off a movie on the tablet. A bit tired. The blood pressure was 114/74 at two forty-five and now 127/74 at six. We'll check it around nine, see if we're taking another dose of the meds before bed.
Evening. Nothing on television I was willing to suffer through, checked the blood pressure at eight-thirty - 122/75 - and then again after nine: 108/71. OK, skip the med again, time now for bed.
