Ten
Sunday. Last night's blood pressure reading was good and so skipped the med again, getting to sleep before ten to awaken then just before six to get up, take another reading - 110/69 - and prepare to drive to breakfast on another overcast morning, setting out finally at ten minutes to seven.
Waited all of two minutes for the first restaurant worker to arrive and so settled down with the Sunday papers, ordering the two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast and coffee at seven-thirty, finishing up by nine as we usually do on a Sunday.
The car parked right outside the restaurant and so all of two pictures before driving home, no thought to run by the supermarket, although there were one or two things I could have picked up that will need picking up next weekend.
I was indeed fuzzy headed yesterday morning to the point I wasn't quite clear until later that I was fuzzy headed, but this morning - seeing more clearly? - things seem much better and so maybe a run to the Chinatown StreetFest this early afternoon, the blood pressure at 90/64 when I got home. Too low to be feeling this good though or in thinking about setting out and taking pictures.
Later. OK, watched another episode of the Korean series on Netflix and then, evidently feeling better (and a little guilty) packed the camera and caught the bus to Chinatown and the StreetFest. Should have taken the blood pressure before I left to see if it was closer to normal. The early reading when I got home from breakfast was too low to be heading out the door, unless the meter was off.
Not as many streets were blocked off for this StreetFest and there wasn't a stage set up in the Asian Cultural Center, but it was crowded and so I walked around for about an hour struggling to find pictures. Ended up not getting many, but I was out, the eyes were were mostly in focus and decided (since there was a long line at the ice cream shop in the Asian Cultural Center) to see about lunch across Broadway on Washington Street at Ratto's.
Felt good, but it turned out Ratto's was closed and there wasn't a bus for another thirty minutes. Ended up walking to Grand to wait on a bus home. A good long walk, one or two decent pictures at the festival and the head feeling pretty good and so stopped to pick up a pint of ice cream at the 7-11 look-alike for lunch. One-fifty on the scale this morning and so why not?
Watched the FedEx golf tournament while eating the ice cream, went to lie down and finish a movie I'd started yesterday, again on Netflix, and finally remembered to take the blood pressure at five o'clock - 122/70 - just right for running around taking pictures, if it was anywhere near that high when I'd set out five hours earlier. Ah, well.
Evening. Another reading at eight-thirty: 126/84 and so took the blood pressure med. What else to say? Lights out before ten.
