Ten

Friday. Lights out by nine-thirty and my lights out just after ten to awaken then with the alarm at six-fifteen. OK, not bad. We'd slept with the fan running until we'd awakened briefly to turn it off around midnight, so the air had fallen in temperature. Good, I guess.

Spaced out, not even glancing at the Ford Go-Bike rack both walking to and walking back from breakfast, noting for the first time in some while the Lime people had set out three of their scooters by the lake, all of them gone when I returned. Arrived at the restaurant to find it open and so settled in with the papers, having skipped the long sleeved shirt again for just a t-shirt and the light jacket making it more comfortable sitting there inside.

Finished up not long before nine this time, setting out for home under what was now a bright sun, warm but without being too warm. Yet. They're saying eighty today, ten degrees cooler than we've had these last two days, with another ten degree drop tomorrow. Looking forward to tomorrow.

The usual set of pictures on the way home, the construction above the sidewalk by the parking lot at the base of my hill making progress, followed with another selfie in the apartment house lobby. Whoever he is, he should tuck that t-shirt in.

Later. An afternoon catching up on this year's Elementary season on the tablet CBS app. Not sure why I didn't add it back to the tablet after I'd deleting it some many months back to free up space when the new Elementary season started, but I didn't. Many defects in their treatment of the Homes saga, but I've always liked the idea of a Lucy Liu playing the role of Watson. Still, its impossible plots and Holmes too odd behavior do seem to wear me down.

Evening. Still warm this evening, but much better than those two evenings where we got up into the low nineties this week. Nothing on television and so to bed, leaving the fan sitting in the living room for the first time, but still finding it warm. Enough tablet for the day and so tried to make do with the BBC News that started at nine, going back and forth with the AM radio Giants' game. Lights out after nine, still awake at ten.

The photo up top was taken at the 2018 Oakland Art & Soul Festival with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
