Lost

Tuesday. Lights out by nine-thirty to awaken finally at ten minutes to six to listen to the KPFA News and then Democracy Now! while getting ready to set out for breakfast under a clear cool sky, arriving again at five minutes to seven, the restaurant open.

Had the avocado omelet, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast to finish up by a quarter to nine and head for home under a bright sun happily taking the usual set of pictures. No sign of workers at the construction area above the sidewalk at the bottom of my hill, the box structure they'd built now wrapped in plastic, so whatever cement they may have used yesterday wasn't used to finish the sidewalk.

The selfie in the apartment lobby, they're saying up to eighty degrees later again, so we'll see what the day holds.

As in crapped out on the bed with the tablet, duplicating your last how many weeks/months here in the apartment?

I'm considering doing some dusting. We'll bite our tongue and not suggest we might go out later.

Later. Finished Better Than Us, an uneven, but interesting eighteen episode Netflix series that took me through the afternoon. No excuses, that's how the afternoon turned out.

Evening. To bed by eight, burned out by now on the tablet (I'd drained seventy percent of the battery charge watching the Netflix series) and so listened to both the BBC News at nine and the last couple of innings of the Giants game on AM radio. The Giants lost.

The photo up top was taken at the Oakland Chinatown StreetFest Sunday with a Nikon D500 mounted with a 24-120mm f 4.0 VR Nikkor lens.
