Not

Tuesday. To sleep after eleven to awaken then at five, blink, awaken again at just before six to listen to the KPFA five minute news and then Democracy Now! before setting out walking to breakfast, arriving to sit at my usual inside table and start on the papers. Four or five other diners arrived to sit inside while I was having breakfast.

The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee again, finishing up by nine to set out for home under still overcast skies, no sign of the sun, coming or going. They're saying a high of seventy-one later.

Not particularly tired, the walk went well, no messages suggesting I needed to get to the bathroom anytime soon, so arrived, took the selfie in the lobby and settled in at the computer, going through the usual finish yesterday's entry, post, process pictures and start here routine. Finished by noon in time to listen to the twelve o'clock news before heading for the Honda repair shop to get the car serviced in preparation for driving to Oregon.

Later. A drive to the Honda dealer to wait thirty minutes inside their garage for someone to take the car. OK, left once they'd done the paperwork and walked up the way to the lab to get the Protime blood thinner test, waiting there some twenty minutes for the less than five minutes it takes to draw the blood and then back to the Honda dealer to wait ten minutes for their shuttle car and catch a ride home. No complaints, waiting is much more comfortable than walking/taking a bus back and forth. Home at two to find the new blood pressure meter had arrived. A good start to an afternoon.

Evening. Checked out The Indian Doctor at eight, gave up, looked briefly at N.C.I.S., gave up and went to bed. I like the idea of The Indian Doctor, but find its attempts at humor just dumb. Or I'm just dumb. To bed then before nine, lights out before ten, but my lights out taking much longer, much like these last few evenings, although I've not been overly tired the day after, late nights or not.

The photo up top was taken at the 2016 San Francisco Anime & Cosplay Festival with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
