Thursday. To bed early again to awaken at ten to six to get up and head out to breakfast on another cold morning, the eyes watering as they took their own sweet time adjusting to the cold. Another plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries with fruit cup and coffee breakfast (we're still ratcheting down from our comfort food binge), taking our time over the papers before walking back to the apartment. A picture or two as we always take a picture or two.

No real upsets with the sinuses this morning and so was able to skip the pain meds again. They're letting me know they're there, but all this back and forth, this take them, don't take them, is wearing thin.

Sunny, looks good outside the balcony sliding glass door. Some thought as to what to do today, but we'll leave them until later and report the fact if any of them should miraculously come to pass. We've had many things not come to pass and writing about them makes us look more the idiot than we believe we to be. Mostly.

I wouldn't make any serious bets on it.

At least this shows the attitude is good.

Later. Checked the bus app to see when the next bus was due and it said in twenty-one minutes, which means, since they run every twenty minutes, that one had just gone by. OK, we'll at least get in a walk over to the lake and so headed out and down the hill, noting a person standing at the bus stop, standing as if there were one now coming. Sometimes the bus app will say a bus isn't coming, not because it isn't coming, but because that particular bus has its satellite location device off line. Happens.

And?

The bus came around the corner as I was approaching the stop and so I got on the bus, got off at Broadway and Grand and walked to the bank ATM, missing a return bus by about a minute as I stood watching it pass across the street. OK. Lets us get in our second walk. Can't call it an adventuresome outing, an ATM run, but at least it added another mile walking before the day was done.

Evening. Spent the rest of an afternoon watching this and that on the tablet, followed by an evening of doing pretty much the same thing.
