Again
Sunday. Lights out by nine-thirty. I think. Not overly late, anyway, to awaken finally at six-fifteen to get up and drive to breakfast, the sky cloudy, but no sign of rain, the rain due later, up to two inches in some areas they're saying. Arrived by seven, the restaurant dark but for a light at the back in the kitchen, the dining area door open and so entered, turned on the lights, sat down and began reading the papers.
Had the Eggs Benedict, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, fruit cup and coffee, not finishing until just after nine. Thought about going by the supermarket, but only for a couple of seconds. Nothing that can't wait for another week was the thinking. The usual pictures I manage when driving, home to cobble this choppy first section together. Another day, in other words, here in Oakland.
Later. A pretty good afternoon. The rain started about three, not that I'd been thinking of going outside. Watched the last half or so of the Seahawks-49'ers game, watched some golf, didn't do much else until Elementary came on at five. I'd seen in before, bailed as I didn't want to see it again and so the afternoon was done with me watching something or other on the tablet instead.
Sounds like too many afternoons around here.
Well, with the head clear and the attitude up, I don't complain.
Evening. Oh, well. I did watch the second Elementary repeat episode at six, went to bed at eight, turned the lights out by nine-thirty. Again.
